The NPSA is the government authority that provides protective security advice to businesses and organisations involved, in any way, with the UK national infrastructure or UK defence.

Only products that have been through rigorous testing standards are approved for UK government use by the NPSA and are listed in the Catalogue of Security Equipment (CSE). The Obexion MD XR Security Shutter has full NPSA approval.

Products with this accreditation are certified for use on US Department of State projects, including government buildings, critical national infrastructure and other high risk applications.

IWA-14 is a globally recognised standard for Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM). It outlines strict guidelines for impact testing vehicle security barriers (VSBs) to ensure they can withstand attacks from hostile vehicles.

IWA 14-1 is considered to be the world’s impact test standard and was designed with contributions from the Centre for Protection of National Infrastructure, the British Standards Institute, and the US Department of State, among others.

Secured by Design is the official UK Police flagship initiative supporting the principles of ‘designing out crime’ in homes and commercial premises. Essentially the purpose is to use intelligent design and manufacturing to ensure physical security and processes are effective in mitigating the threat.

JOSCAR (Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register) is a collaborative initiative for aerospace, defence, and security manufacturers to assess and streamline supplier qualifications, improving supply chain efficiency. Recognised by major defence purchasers, the JOSCAR Registration Mark confirms an organisation’s commitment and credentials. Charter Global has met all requirements and is now fully JOSCAR-certified.
